Faisalabad was built as a wheel — eight bazaars spoking out from a Victorian clock tower, one for each direction. It is an unusually easy city to eat your way around, because the food follows the same geometry: pick a bazaar, walk it end to end, and you will not go hungry.
This is a list for that walk. Halwa puri where the mills' shifts start, kulfi in the afternoon heat, and the karahi and tikka counters that fill up once the fabric shops shut.

Serena Chowk Dhabas
Daal, roti and tea done plainly and well. The everyday lunch that keeps the city running.
Amin Pur Bazaar
Mithai shops with proper gulab jamun and, in winter, gajar ka halwa worth queueing for.
Faisalabad Halwa Puri Points
Sunday morning, hot puri, cholay and a glass of lassi. The city's most reliable ritual.
Canal Road Chai Dhabas
Roadside chai with the canal alongside — the default place to sit and talk for an hour.
